To Rome In Starlet

Flight canceled to Rome. Damo and Stu decide to drive in a '96 Starlet.

Organise a ferry from Roslare to France. Drive from Dublin to Roslare.

Arrive in Roslare, to hear that their flight is back on.

Arrive in Dublin at 12.00am, 2.30am flight canceled.

Organise a 8.30am ferry from Dublin to Hollyhead.

Drive from Hollyhead to Dover.

Catch 10pm ferry in Dover.

Arrived in France, starting our long trek to Rome.

~~Driving all the way to Milan tonight~~

Stopped off in Luzern Switzerland, at 20.00 for R&R. Early Start

Down through the Swiss Alps to Milan, all roads now lead to Rome!

9pm Roma time (8pm in Ireland) arrived at the hotel

9.01pm Roma time having a pint in the bar.

Sunday 25 April leave Rome and head home. We are now To Home in Starlet

Stopped off in Florence for the evening

Headed to Pisa and Monte Carlo for a lap of the F1 circuit

After Monte Carlo headed for Cherbourg, with an overnight stop in Lyon

Stayed just north of Lyon in Macon. Then a straight drive all the way to Cherbourg

Car is giving loads of trouble, just about make it to Cherbourg.

Back on the home soil of Eire! On the way home to Dublin.

The Starlet is the Honda 50 of cars.

A volcano cancelled their flight.
